Practical one-to-one in-car instructor training for PDIs and ADIs who want to improve their lesson structure, risk management, teaching skills and confidence in a real driving environment.
At Instructor Development UK, our in-car training is tailored around your current stage, experience, test date and development needs. Whether you are preparing for ADI Part 3, working towards a Standards Check, or improving your instructional ability, you will receive focused support, clear feedback and practical coaching.
Training is aligned with the ADI1 assessment criteria and the National Standards for Driver and Rider Training (NSDRT).
This training is suitable for PDIs preparing for Part 3, trainee licence holders, ADIs preparing for a Standards Check, and instructors who want to improve lesson structure, teaching skills, risk management and client-centred learning.
One-to-one in-car training is usually available within a reasonable travelling distance of our trainer.
For shorter sessions, such as 2-hour training, availability may be limited to certain areas, as travelling long distances for a short session is not always practical.
Where longer travel is required, we may recommend a half-day, full-day or intensive training option so the session remains worthwhile, focused and productive.
Pricing is based on your area, location, travel distance, availability and the level of support required.
Please contact us with your postcode or Part 3 test centre so we can confirm availability and recommend the most suitable training option.
Final Attempt Training is available as a specialist one-to-one in-car option for trainee instructors who need urgent, structured and practical support before their ADI Part 3 test.
This is suitable for PDIs approaching a final attempt, trainees who have failed Part 3 before, those close to badge expiry, or anyone who needs clear direction before test.
Final Attempt Training can be arranged as a longer session, full-day, 2-day or 3-day intensive depending on your location, test date, training needs and availability.
Contact us to discuss your current stage, training goals, location and test date so we can recommend the most suitable option.
